Adrien let the air between them calm as she breathed out a tired sigh. He wished he could provide some sort of reassurance to her, but honestly he came unprepared. “Yeah, humiliating is the word,” he said as he remembered the heat in his cheeks after his father sent him to his room.
Marinette eyed his own slumped posture. And though Adrien didn’t find anything amusing about their current predicament, she smirked. “Funny how we always find each other heartbroken, huh kitty?”
