Part One Synopsis
Avery is the last known survivor of a line of ancient warriors, the Elemental Guardians. She was kidnapped and abused from a very young age and carries with her the weight and obligation to protect her people. After escaping her toxic grandmother, she arrives in Paris with one goal: to find and take down Hawk Moth. And when she does that, she’ll finally earn the love and respect she longs for. How hard can it be? VERY.
Gabriel is the holder of the Butterfly Miraculous, the archenemy of Ladybug and Cat Noir, and the scourge of Paris. His main goal: reunite the Miraculouses of the Black Cat and Ladybug to resurrect the love of his life. After another failed attempt at seizing the gems, he receives a mysterious message from Paris’ newly acclaimed hero, Rafale, who offers him assistance on his mission.
Despite their supposed mutual interests, trouble brews beneath the surface. Avery’s dark past and destiny are catching up to her, and she isn’t sure she can stop it. A race begins to discover each other’s identity, and the clock is ticking. And when the power goes out and the gun goes off, which one will be left standing?
