Adrien Agreste has never been allowed to leave his home. He has spent all his life behind the large golden gates of the Agreste Manor with his only friend being the daughter of the mayor, who he is betrothed, offering the mayors daughter eternal life at 18 in return, the Agreste family secret remained hidden and their lives were unisturbed outside the city limits.
Now Adrien is 16, which for a born vampire, means he will no longer drink blood the way he has his whole life, prepared and presented outside of the human body. It is time that he finally learn how to drink from a human and his betrothed, a girl he thinks of more as a sister than a future wife, sends him the gift of a human that he will be drinking from for the next two years, until he is allowed to hunt for the first time, then marry and turn Chloe to reign as vampire royalty together forever. It's been the plan for as long as Adrien can remember.
The only thing Chloe and his Father are unaware of is that Adrien and his new blood bag, have a connection so strong that even they aren't fully aware of the magnitude.
